Passionate about interior design, decoration and styling we have realised
the interior design of different projects.
Take a look at a few of our projects, before and after.
Interior design •
duplex apartment with terrace
If you want to create more unity in your interior, choose a colour palette.
In this case a white base (used for walls and furniture) is combined with a dark brown (floor) and gold,
used as an accent colour (wallpaper, accessories).
By using the same colours for the exterior space, a small terrace, the interior and exterior are now connected.
Bamboo plants in large pots add a natural accent.
“We used gold coloured wallpaper (Arte) and golden accessories to give this
new-build apartment a glamorous look”
Working in the interior decoration industry has always enforced our passion for turning every living space into a welcoming home.
Renovation •
60’s bungalow in green surroundings
Our mission for this project was to do a total renovation and give the house a contemporary look, renew all the techniques of the house, walls and floors and revamp the old, rustic interior.
We decided to preserve some authentic pieces as well, like the original 60’s ceiling (of course we worked together with specialists for the building process).
Our main goals: to refresh a closed and dark interior by letting in more natural daylight and to make a connection with the beautiful green surroundings. The dark stone brick walls were painted white to reflect the light.
A casting floor replaced the old tiles. The large panoramic windows were all replaced by windows with sleek black window frames, to achieve a more actual look.
"We searched for aged, saturated colours. For the interior, we chose some interior colours that fitted the house like a second skin, a warm ochre and a tender mint green (Boss Paints) were used as main accent colours. We added a little bit of bright yellow as pep colour, just for a few splashes to accentuate the palette."
As much as we love to travel, we like to move, and we took part in several renovations and building projects.
Transformation •
Loft space in a former post office in the city centre
The transformation of a former post office, together with several families to a co-housing project with several loft and commercial spaces, was a real challenge. From scratch (see picture 'before').
During the renovation process, every single material and interior decoration piece had to be picked, from accessories to colours, floors, bathroom and kitchen.
The big open kitchen (nearby the entrance) has a lot of storage room and is the centre space in this loft,
with 2 levels.
On the bedroom wall (± 3.5 x 4.5 m), we painted an exotic drawing for which we used stencils (The Stencil Library), resulting in colourful flowers and exotic birds on a gold painted background.
The mural, applied with paint, tampon brushes and various paint templates. We picked a calming colour palette (pastel and powder tones) and added some colours that we mixed ourselves with scraps of paint.
Such fun and what a result!
Under the ceiling (top floor) we decorated an 'evening' room to relax, a night blue shade (Levis) and a dark wallpaper with flowery print (Laura Ashley) cover the walls.
To brighten up the dark and give the interior more punch, we combined night blue and black with accessories in the colours of gemstones: Emerald, Enstatite, Amethyst, and Apatite. You can also find ‘Enstatite’ in the ‘Bronzite’ variant in the bathroom, where we used glazed mosaics on the walls.
"You can add some colour to your interior by choosing colourful accessories. The advantage: you can easily change them - if you wish - each season!"
